Why Good Lodging Matters

Hunting can be very stressful and mentally/physically draining. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good the hunting is if you are tired and/or unable to concentrate and put the time in. Being able to sleep well, have a first class meal and have the ability to relax can be the difference between being successful or not. Years ago I pushed myself so hard for an entire season hunting a particular big whitetail that when the opportunity finally presented itself I completely botched it and had to watch him walk away, that was the last time I ever saw this deer. It was undoubtedly due to the fact that I was just so tired, lost my focus and had become complacent.
