Northern Alberta’s Whitetail Camp

Northern Alberta’s Whitetail Camp is committed to providing a lasting experience for young and old alike and create memories that will last a lifetime. Many of us who were born to pioneer families have hunted and tagged along behind our fathers since we were old enough to walk. I remember also, when I was too young to go and I had to watch my dad and his friends pack up to go hunting without me. The yearning feeling I had to go hunting with them was indescribable and one I will never forget. This feeling is what we at NAWC want to instill back into hunting families or anyone who would like to experience this part of our heritage.

We want the young hunter to dream all winter of the monster buck they saw last fall and count down the days to opening day, or the feeling a parent has when they help their child harvest their first animal. Whether you hunt with a bow or rifle, are a first time hunter or seasoned pro looking for that 200” Trophy Whitetail, NAWC would love the opportunity to be part of your memories and help make your dream a reality. Thanks for visiting our site and we hope to see you in “Deer Camp”

The trapping industry is one of the oldest in Canada and in the early years was one of the only sources of income for many families. In the fall, many men would leave their families behind and venture to the far remote areas of Northern Canada to prepare for the harsh winter climate and begin their season. Many of these young men by todays standards were only boys and would spend an entire winter “alone in the wilderness.
